We believe being provided with a good environment can be a major contributing factor in building young people’s self-esteem going some way to proving that we value those who are in our care.
The urban units are sited in residential areas and are usually a short distance from local retail centres and other amenities such as parks and recreational facilities. They are also conveniently located for access to public transport, making journeys to and from colleges and work placements relatively short and inexpensive. The accommodation which we provide for rural placements is inevitably rather more isolated but is ideally situated to make day-to-day journeys as short as possible.
